Culture
Many poets have sung both Bihac and river Una. They choose the most beautiful words to convey to the ordinary mortal the divine beauty of the One. They stroll through the "Streets of Bisce" writing their verses about a legend city. The painters did the same, all the color palette meets at the junction of the city and the river. Even today, artists come to Bihac and Una. Some to find a new detail, to describe and paint it, some to read their works or exhibit their works in the art city. Also, Bihac has hopes of art, attending the Art School in Bihac, which has already produced numerous music and art creators. Recently, actors have been coming to Bihac to show all the beauty of the theater in an authentic Bihac setting, beneath the old buildings. Dancers, orchestras and singers are visiting, and Bihac can appreciate that. In this city you can visit the Enver Krupić Gallery, works by an artist who has dedicated his entire life to painting the natural beauties of the area, with a particular love for the Una River, as well as exhibitions of paintings by eminent painters exhibiting at the "JU City Gallery Bihac" and the Una Gallery. Writers and poets also gladly present their works in these buildings.

The city of Bihac, as a political, university, economic, tourist, sports and every other center of the KJA, is certainly the main cultural starting point of this part of BiH. In addition to the numerous cultural and art events that occur in different production variants (independent and institutional), it is still the most recognizable for its traditional manifestations, of which (if we are talking about art) the most important place is the Festival of Performing Arts under the name “Summer of Bihac. ". In its original form, the aforementioned festival was conceived as a theater show by BiH theater, but over time it has grown into an international festival of regional character. Of course, the second most important place belongs to the manifestation "Street Bišća", which, although a year older, Due to its mainly local production, it has a much smaller significance, but it is certainly important and irreplaceable in the program offer which has been growing ever since. Last but not least, this would be the third place, occupied by a combined manifestation of culture and sport called "City Day" (the birthday of the city), which in its historical significance is certainly the most important, but in a programmatic sense it is fluttering, revial and in every sense celebratory, whereby, according to the nature of the manifestation itself, the artistic contents are reduced to a somewhat smaller number than is the case with the previously described manifestation cycles.

Of course, these events are not the only producers and servitors of Bihać culture and art. The city of Bihac is home to seven institutions (five of which are cantonal and two city), but also home to numerous associations of citizens and individuals who, regardless of their institutional activities, also contribute greatly to the final number of realized artistic programs and projects within one calendar year. If the aforementioned are also added some minor manifestations such as "Maturijade", celebration of religious holidays, "Sevdah Fest", "Autumn on the Gelenders" and many others that emerge and disappear over time, then it can be said with certainty that the city of Bihac is alive with culture and art which, of course, can be further enhanced by quality strategic planning.
